Big Bass Challenge 8/21/10

53 boats took to the water on a beautiful morning which turned sweltering hot by mid-day.  Winds were fairly calm throughout the whole contest.

The big bass of the day, weighing 4.84 lbs, was brought in by Hamel and Hamel just a short time after the contest started.  The team of Bever and Bever weighed in a 4.84 largemouth in the 11:00 hour that couldn’t quite topple Hamel’s fish.

At the end of the contest, the anglers had a pulled pork bbq dinner complete with baked beans, chips and drinks provided by Western Beverage.

Congratulations to everyone who placed in the hourly weigh-ins and thank you to everyone who participated again this year.  Next year we are hoping to bring in even more boats.  Also, a huge thank you goes out to our sponsors as we couldn’t do it without them.  Please browse back over our sponsor list and patronize them whenever possible.  Let them know you appreciate their support of our tournament.  Thanks again and see you next year!
